Did you know?
The Sabi Sand Reserve is home to the ‘Big Five' as well as a number of South Africa's finest luxury game lodges.
The healing hand of Africa works in wonderful ways at Amani Spa at Earth Lodge (at Sabi Sabi), in the famous Sabi Sand Reserve game in Mpumalanga.
There is a sense of timelessness here, a sense of peace and sanctuary. Sculpted into a slope of earth, completely integrated into the landscape, Earth Lodge has innovative décor and original artworks and has been described as one of the most environmentally sensitive lodge in Africa.
Earth Lodge offers a deeply luxurious and soulful Big Five safari experience - including fine dining, exquisite accommodation, rewarding wildlife encounters and unforgettable spa pampering.
In a setting of majestic trees and ancient bush, Earth Lodge's Amani Spa celebrates the senses and soul of Africa. The spa uses a range of skin and beauty products appropriately called Africology.
Taking a leaf out of nature's book, Africology products have been especially created out of natural South African ingredients, using essential oils and extracts of the marula tree, the rooibos plant, and the African potato and aloe vera plants, all designed to stimulate natural healing and anti-ageing.
Head for a body massage after a long game drive or spend a morning indulging in a tailor made treatments that will soothe your weary brow and smooth away stress and strain. Amani Spa at Sabi Sabi offers a variety of skin and beauty treatments, as well as hydrotherapy and steam baths, and a Zen garden for moments of total peace and quiet, just you and the bush. The spa also does honeymoon packages like couples' massages, and will design treatments to suit the occasion.
