Hoopoe Haven is a small and peaceful country guest house, situated in beautiful Chartwell, but it is just a stones throw away from Montecasino, Lion Park, 3 shopping malls, Lanseria airport, live theatre and near-by cradle of humankind, coca-cola dome,lesedi cultural village just to name a few highlights. Hoopoe Haven is positioned on 2 acres of landscaped gardens in the countryside with Horse trails around and a beautiful view of the Magaliesberg Mountains. Hoopoe Haven is a place to relax and unwind in the peace and quiet of the countryside. One can watch the magnificent birdlife, (over 50 different bird species have been spotted here, including guinea fowl, plovers, hoopoes, barbets and shrikes to name a few) while you have a sundowner or a braai on the patio or a cooling swim in our crystal clear pool, with a beautiful sunset in the background. If you decide to stay up late on a clear evening you may even be lucky enough to hear the roar of the lions from the lion park. we offer quality B&B accommodation in the lodge and have 5 self-caterng cottages. our rates are very affordable
