Chartwell House Umhlanga

Chartwell Guest House is situated at 88 Chartwell Drive, Umhlanga Rocks, the coastal playground of Umhlanga, Durban. We are located close to the fabulous La Lucia Mall, a mere 4minutes from Gateway shopping centre and within walking distance to the pristine beaches of Umhlanga Rocks. Chartwell Guest House is also a 2-minute drive to the vibrant and cosmopolitan Umhlanga Village where you will be spoilt for choice among the numerous coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques and newly refurbished malls. Chartwell Guest House has an unusual history. It was previously an art gallery and home to local artist and Trustee of an International Art Foundation Mr H. Boshoff. Although it is now completely renovated, Chartwell Guest House still bears testiment to its unique past. The swimming pool was hand mosaiced by internationally acclaimed artist Jane Du Rand. It is truly a work of art as is the exquisite black, white and mirror mosaiced bathroom in the Honeymoon Suite.
