JOHANNESBURG, 14 July 2016 – Over 1000 South African business travellers have been exposed to a wide range of fantastic domestic travel destinations and deals as part of a joint pilot project between SA Tourism and ASATA. This project is aimed at promoting leisure travel across South Africa among business travellers.
As South Africa marks the 40th anniversary of Youth Day, the South Africa National Convention Bureau (SANCB), a business unit of South African Tourism, observed the day by putting the spotlight on the future of the country’s business events industry.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2016, ITB Berlin - the world’s leading travel trade show – has selected the 5-star Strandloper Ocean Boutique Hotel in Paternoster as the South African representative to take part in a global marketing campaign.
