Todd Neuman, SAA executive vice-president: North America, said SAA was pleased with the new agreement. ‘The business opportunities between Canada and Africa are important to SAA and this new agreement with Porter Airlines will offer new and convenient connections for our customers,' he said.

Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines commented that the partnership provided improved access to unique destinations at both ends of the globe.
