SAT country manager awarded in India

South African Tourism (SAT) country manager for India Hanneli Slabber has been recognised for her outstanding work.

Slabber was selected as the Best Professional in Marketing by the editorial board of the Safari India National Tourism Awards.

Slabber will be awarded at the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) International Seminar on 9 August 2013. The event is themed 'Think Green, Live Green to Save the Earth'. The Safari India National Tourism Awards will be held at the event in New Delhi.

The prestigious Safari India magazine is a regional tourism publication that focuses on India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and South-East Asia. It covers topics related to tourism such as aviation, travel agents, hospitality, travel trade conferences, wildlife and the environment.

Representing members from all over the world, PATWA is a leading travel writers' organisation that aims to promote the professional development of travel writing and travel communications. It is an affiliate member of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation.
