Africa holds many charms and many mysteries, none more enchanting and inspiring as the Tree of Life the Baobab.
These trees have been around for thousands of years and have, like South Africa, provided many things to many individuals. Tribal leaders of old believed that the spirit of the Baobab would always help them make wise decisions, elephants enjoy the leaves and bark for food and moisture. Baboons feast on the fruits of the tree and birds and bees nest in the holes of the trunk as most of the old trees are hollow inside.
Share in the spirit of Ubuntu and the essence of the giving baobab by entering the 2011 Ubuntu Awards. Let the baobab inspire you to create
a marketing campaign that will highlight South Africa's abundance of authentic experiences. The competition is open to tour operators and travel agents, with the winner receiving £25,000 to carry out their proposal during Jan, Feb or March 2012.
