Tau Spa is a sanctuary in the heart of the Madikwe bushveld. As an integral part of Tau Game Lodge, this spa offers special packages designed around your personal rest and relaxation needs. Combine luxurious treatments with game drives in the bush and a range of activities in the great outdoors.

Did you know?

Between 1991 and 1997, thousands of animals were brought in to stock the Madikwe Game Reserve as part of Operation Phoenix.

Tau Spa in the Madikwe Game Reserve forms part of Tau Game Lodge, one of the well-established lodges in this Big Five reserve.

Tau sits on a flat piece of land with exquisite views of the bushveld and enormous African skies.

Game viewing from the rooms and viewing decks at Tau is quite spectacular – that’s before you have even climbed onto a game vehicle to go Big Five spotting in the bush.

Tau’s Spa facilities are a wonderful bonus when one stays at this luxury safari lodge.

There are massage therapies to help get rid of the wear and tear caused by stress and demanding modern lifestyles. Therapists use the Africology range of products which are formulated with the energetic essences of plants to help detox, restore and rejuvenate the skin and body. Radionics are used to enhance the natural properties of the lotions and creams used in therapies.

They also offer hydrotherapy treatmentsand trained spa therapists are on hand to assist clients in creating their own individualised spa experience. Enjoy a jacuzzi filled with bubble bath as you survey the African bushveld.

Packages include a selection of treatments (followed by some time spent relaxing in the secluded relaxation Sala).

The Nomadic Pride Packages aimed at group bookings, are especially designed as part of Conference/Incentive group itineraries – and just add that special dollop of magic to any conference of business meeting.
