The Baraka Events & Function Venue is an ideal venue for those seeking to combine conferencing and team building with a unique bush and interactive animal experience.

It is located an hour’s drive from Johannesburg, in the Bush Babies Monkey Sanctuary at Hartebeespoort Dam, alongside The Elephant Sanctuary.

The Baraka Events & Function Venue caters for up to 150 delegates cinema-style. The East African-inspired venue comprises an impressive high-tech conferencing hall, breakaway areas, a private dining wine cellar, a private deck and a plunge pool. It’s a distinctive destination for breakaways, meetings, training sessions and team building, surrounded by exotic primates in a natural habitat.

Conference packages are tailored to client requirements – be it a 1-day, 2-day or 5-day conference. These can be combined with a host of team building adventures around the Hartebeespoort area.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating primates found at Bush Babies. You can enjoy a guided walk on elevated wooden walkways through natural indigenous forests and experience a variety of exotic monkeys.

The Elephant Sanctuary is home to a variety of buck, baboons, porcupines, caracals, leopards, 350 bird species and 5 African elephants. It offers special elephant interactions.

It has a 4-star Main Lodge and a Bush Lodge. Combined they can cater for up to 24 delegates. For larger groups Baraka can arrange additional accommodation at nearby establishments. The venue can also arrange group tours around the Hartebeespoort area, and has negotiated preferential rates with its suppliers.
