A NEW SPECIAL PRICE CAMPAIGN FOR SOUTH AFRICAN TOURISM ITALY

South African Tourism Italy launches a series of packages at € 1,590 thanks to the collaboration of 9 tour operators and South African Airways.

This campaign, thanks to the collaboration of the Italian tour operators and the national airline, helps us to spread the image of South Africa as being affordable for everyone, an ideal destination for those looking for adventure, for good food, for the family, for couples or for groups of friends. South Africa becomes ever more accessible for Italian travelers. This is demonstrated by the constant growth in arrivals statistics (up 13.7% from January to October 2012) and by the willingness of South African Airlines and Italian specialists on the destination to join forces in order to offer travel packages at special prices.
 
Packages – valid from the 1st January to the 31st October 2013 – are being promoted through an advertising campaign that includes the transmission of 15-second television commercials on main TV channels such as all Mediaset networks, with a first slot which was broadcasted for 4 weeks between December 2012 and January 2013, and Sky network with a second slot which will be live for 4 weeks between February and March 2013.
 
Between the TV slots, the campaign has been pushed with 5-second and 15-second radio spots on national radios Radio 105, Radio Monte Carlo and Virgin Radio in December 2012 and February 2013.
 
A strong presence online is also guaranteed by video-box, newsletters and DEM on major portals and travel sites, as well as on South African Tourism social networks channels, YouTube and Facebook (35.485 fans at present).

The site www.sudafricaperte.it allows the user to identify the packages closest to their requirements through a quick search box where you can select the departure date and choose the type of trip from eight alternatives: fly & drive, cities and culture, honeymoon, nature and safari, adventure, family, food and wine, romantic.
 
In addition to the 40 packages at the special price of €1,590, the site also features further packages on offer in two higher price bands: from € 1,600 to € 3,000 and from € 3,001 to € 6,000.
