The first Decorex exhibition in South Africa immediately attracted the country's attention as the first local event with a focus on interior design and décor. Other such shows have followed, but the award-winning Decorex exhibitions remain among the most popular.

The Decorex exhibitions – taking place in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg, with each city adding its own unique energy to the event – attract a mix of high-end exhibitors, leading brands, emerging talent and décor-minded consumers. The theme for the 2013 Johannesburg event is 'bliss'.

The hundreds of stands and stalls will each interpret this theme in their own way and visitors can view and buy décor and design objects, ranging from high-tech to handmade and including furniture, fabrics, art, accessories, appliances, lighting, carpeting and upholstery. 

Decorex is also a platform for suppliers to debut the latest trends for floors, walls, surfaces, lighting, windows, kitchens and bathroom designs. Also look out for a number of inspirational room settings designed by industry icons.
