MMonchique Guest House is a luxurious, award winning country retreat that offers affordable holiday, wedding and business accommodation. We pride ourselves on top-class amenities and service delivered with a special personal touch. Our accent is on luxury, hospitality and friendliness – which you will experience from the moment you arrive until you depart. We have 13 suites of which one is a family suite able to sleep 4 people and one is our lovely cottage able to sleep a maximum of 5 people. In total we can accommodate 31 people sharing. We’re minutes from the city, yet miles away in terms of the serene tranquility of our rural surroundings. You’ll find us in Muldersdrift - nestling on the edge of the Cradle of Mankind, a world heritage site. We are readily accessible by well-established roads, only about 40 minutes from Sandton and Pretoria. Lanseria International Airport is also nearby while the popular Fourways shopping mall and Monte Casino resort are less than 20 minutes away. We cater for small intimate weddings and are ideal for a second marriage. We have an onsite Thatch Chapel and are able to cater for 10 - 50 people. Have your dinner served on our lovely patio or country style dining room. We are also able to host conferences up to 30 delegates.

If you’re looking for the complete coastal forest experience, Tsitsikamma, in the Eastern Cape has to be on the top of your list. Walk through the ancient forest, chill on the beaches, kayak up rivers and hike some of the most famous trails South Africa has to offer. The Tsitsikamma National Park forms part of the greater Garden Route National Park. The area is covered by large areas of forest as well as many rivers that have carved deep gorges into the mountains as they wind their way from the plateau to the sea. Accommodation in the area is not a problem at all, the fernery lodge and chalets is the perfect place to relax after an exciting day of adventuring.
