Hotel Numbi and Garden Suites

RRecently refurbished the Hotel Numbi and Garden Suites is a luxury three star hotel with a “highly recommended†accreditation from the AA of South Africa. The hotel is situated on a 10 hectares property in lush sub-tropical garden surrounds next to the main road in Hazyview. The old indigenous trees and the gardens with its large lawns create an atmosphere of total relaxation. Guests have a choice of accommodation; the hotel offers nineteen luxury twin rooms, two double and one family room. The reception, restaurants, conference facilities and bar are all located within the hotel. Then there are the 28 elegantly furnished Garden Suites and all with air-conditioning, private patio’s and bathrooms en suite located within 80 meters from the hotel, here guests can park their vehicles at their accommodation Recently the old family home have been revamped and this classical old farm house now offers seven luxury suites in a private garden with it`s own pool. These rooms will be online as from the 1st of April 2010 as the Main House at the Numbi. Also on the premises of the Hotel is the Numbi Caravan Park and at the main entrance the Rendezvous Tourism Centre offering shopping and that is also where the new restaurant – Pioneers Butcher & Grill is situated.

If you’re looking for the complete coastal forest experience, Tsitsikamma, in the Eastern Cape has to be on the top of your list. Walk through the ancient forest, chill on the beaches, kayak up rivers and hike some of the most famous trails South Africa has to offer. The Tsitsikamma National Park forms part of the greater Garden Route National Park. The area is covered by large areas of forest as well as many rivers that have carved deep gorges into the mountains as they wind their way from the plateau to the sea.
