Upcoming South African Super 15 rugby fixtures

Several top Super Rugby teams from Australia and New Zealand will be visiting South Africa during the next few weeks and fans should book their tickets as soon as possible from Computicket.

The Brumbies from Canberra will be playing the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on April 29 and then travelling to Durban the following weekend (May 7) to play the Sharks. Bloemfontein is an 8-hour drive or 1-hour flight from Bloemfontein.

The Chiefs from Waikato finish their tour of South Africa on Saturday, April 30, when they play the Bulls in Pretoria. The Bulls have been struggling all season and following a poor tour down under, the defending champions are the underdogs for this clash.

The Crusaders from Cantebury, arguably the most exciting club side in world rugby right now, have matches against the Stormers in Cape Town on May 7 and then against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on May 14. Bloemfontein is a 2-hour flight (or 13-hour drive if you really fancy) from Cape Town for those who wish to watch both matches.

With a lineup that includes Richie McCaw, Dan Carter and heavy-weight-boxing sensation, Sonny Bill Williams, the Crusaders are the team every neutral fan wants to watch. While they may have sipped-up against the Highlanders on Saturday, they will still be most critics’ favoruites for this year’s Super 15 title.

The Rebels from Melbourne will be touring South Africa for the first time when they take on the Bulls in Pretoria on May 14 and the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein the following weekend. Bloemfontein is a 6-hour drive from Pretoria, or a 1-hour flight from nearby Johannesburg.
