Kitesurfing is a fast-growing adventure activity around the world and the Western Cape province in South Africa is home to some of the planet’s best locations for this water sport.

The best months for kitesurfing in the Western Cape are November to April, when the winds are at their strongest. During this period each year, European kite surfers flock to Cape Town to escape winter at home and to make the most of the excellent conditions on offer, as well as to enjoy the festive season, filled with summer events.
