Going to POT

A while back, I wrote a blog about Diemersfontein’s ubiquitous coffee-chocolate Pinotage.

Dubbed the ‘people’s Pinotage’ for its universal appeal (in SA anyway), a decade later, the juggernaut shows no signs of slowing. As evidenced by that fact that Diemersfontein now takes this wine on an annual 3-province roadshow, known as the Pinotage on Tap Festival, or POT, and rapturous crowds follow.

So if you haven’t tasted what Peter F May, founder of the international cyber Pinotage Club, Honorary Member of the Pinotage Association, and a judge at the annual Pinotage Top 10 competition, described as
‘a chocolate bomb …with dark rich coffee beans… smooth like velvet with a hint of smoke and leather…that left me yearning for a chocolate covered cherry’, isn’t it time you went to POT?
