If you’re an adrenalin junkie and haven’t yet ticked bungee jumping off your bucket list, then this is the year to do so.

And even if you have bungee jumped before, have you done the world’s highest commercial jump: the Bloukrans Bungee in Tsitsikama along South Africa's Garden Route?

The Bloukrans Bungee is 216m high and offers the ultimate rush for anyone who ever imagined trying to fly. It’s situated around 7 hours' drive from Cape Town, in an area known for its range of outdoor adventure activities. For around R700 you can complete the Bloukrans Bungee and get a video to prove it.

Gouritz Bridge

The Gouritz Bridge near Mossel Bay in the Western Cape is the oldest commercial bungee jump in South Africa. At 65m it’s a good warm up for the Bloukrans Bungee.

Orlando Towers, Soweto

If you’re in Johannesburg and have a few spare hours on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, make your way to the Orlando Towers in Soweto and experience the 100m bungee jump for R480.
