A view from the top
The city of Johannesburg came into being in 1886 when the Witwatersrand Gold Rush took place. And what was once an industrial area has now become a bustling metropolitan city. Who knew that so many years after the gold rush people from all over the world would still be flocking here to explore what the city has to offer.
Johannesburg has gained quite a few nicknames over the years (Egoli, Jo’burg and Jozi, to mention just a few).
The city offers a wide variety of exquisite venues and hang-out spots that keep its visitors and residents entertained. It's always great to explore emerging restaurants and interesting places, grabbing sundowners, relaxing and enjoying the views with friends.
