Countdown to Comrades 2015: race overview and history

The Comrades Marathon, believed to be the world’s oldest and largest ultra-marathon, is run in KwaZulu-Natal between the coastal city of Durban and the province’s capital, Pietermaritzburg, with the route alternating direction every year.
