A couple of weeks ago my friends and I decided to spend the weekend in Magaliesburg, I suppose we were weary of our normal routine. After getting lost and taking numerous wrong turns our 1,5-hour drive turned out to be a 3-hour drive to the area.
Last week I had the pleasure of joining the crew from Walker Bay Adventures for a sea kayaking experience in Hermanus. This involved getting within 40 metres of a Bryde’s whale and even closer to seals and dolphins.
Skydivers love KwaZulu-Natal because the air is fresh and the scenery is fantastic, whether you are jumping out of a plane at the coast or somewhere inland. Because of the province’s great climate, skydiving takes place throughout the year.
There are lots of places to go rafting in South Africa, but from personal experience I’ll share the best. (And I’ve rafted in Nepal, the US, on the Zambezi in Zimbabwe and on the Ganges, so like to think I know what I’m talking about.)
